Here at Young Performance Marine, our mission is to provide the high performance boating community with the latest cutting edge technology in EFI engines, unparalleled customer service, and unmatched warranties, all of which are designed to exceed our customers expectations. Utilizing large displacement engines, we are able to give our customers the power and reliability that they have come to expect from a top engine builder. We are able to apply over 20 years of racing and performance boating knowledge to every engine that we build. The results are engines that are custom tailored and built to best suit the needs and boating styles of our customers.

After 15 years of building engines for and racing hydroplanes and blown alcohol flatbotttoms, I focused all of my attention on both pleasure boats and poker runners. This started with the opening of Total Marine Performance in Louisiana in 2000. While at TMP, I built numerous engines for Nor-Tech, Hustler, Fountain, & several other high performance boat companies. Several of these boats have been featured in Hotboat, Powerboat, Extreme Boats Magazine, and Poker Runs America. These boats included Cyclone, a 36' Nor-Tech capable of running 174 mph and the Nashville Catz, a 43' Nor-tech capable of running 160 mph. In addition to all of the magazine coverage, both Cyclone and other engines that I have built were featured on a Travel Channel special. In 2006, after Hurricane Katrina devastated Louisiana, I relocated to the Nashville, Tennessee area to build engines on my own. This central location allows me to better serve my customers.
